George Van Kula
Chief Administrative and Transformation Officer
George Van Kula is Alcami’s Chief Administrative and Transformation Officer and leads the company’s critical corporate administrative functions, including human resources, talent acquisition and development, legal, corporate communications, and transformation management.
Van Kula is a values-driven, results-oriented, collaborative executive who has successfully built and led global teams to deliver outstanding legal, regulatory, and human resources support to multibillion-dollar international businesses. He has a superlative track record of driving revenue and earnings growth, while creating cultures of collaboration and performance.
Most recently, George served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, General Counsel and Secretary at VWR Corporation, where he spent 13 years streamlining and optimizing their human resources, regulatory, and legal functions. His extensive career also includes 10 years in various roles with Honeywell International, Inc., including as Vice President and General Counsel, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prior to that, he was an Associate in Latham & Watkins’s Corporate Department, where he was counsel to U.S. and foreign companies and investment banks in a variety of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance transactions, and general corporate matters.
George holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Michigan Law School as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and International Studies from the University of Notre Dame, and graduated from both schools with distinction.
