How long have you been with Alcami?
I started as a contract employee in February 2016 and was hired by Alcami in October of 2016. So I have been here for 2+ years.

What is your role? 
I am a Sample Control Unit (SCU) Coordinator, as well as a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Power of Attorney.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding part is working with incoming samples,  getting them logged in correctly and efficiently, and having the knowledge and resources to obtain additional information I may need to complete the process. Whichever department the sample belongs to, I find I can go to management and get answers and resolutions in a timely manner.

What are your team’s latest achievements?
In the past year, my team has had to learn a brand new system for logging in samples. I find learning the new programs to be rewarding and productive accomplishments.

How do you see those accomplishments affecting the pharmaceutical industry?
Our new system provides a format for efficiency. Efficiency helps determine how quickly we can get the sample tested and reported to the client.
