How long have you been with Alcami?
I joined Alcami 5 months ago.

What is your role?
I am the Supervisor for Visual Inspection of our Charleston, SC site.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding part of my job is making a difference in people’s lives on a daily basis. Keeping the patient in mind motivates me; it makes the challenges less challenging. I thoroughly enjoy being a member of an amazing cross-functional team that works hard to get the job done.

What are your team’s latest achievements?

We are successfully turning around batches that require gamma irradiation within very tight timelines. Our team has prioritized and stayed on top of these batches while working collaboratively with other cross-functional teams.

How do you see those accomplishments affecting the pharmaceutical industry?
They are an indication that we are becoming more efficient through communicating our priorities and leveraging our resources to meet client milestones. We are then able to build better client relations, more client relations and ultimately help more people who need the medicines that we produce.
