On Friday, October 13, 2017, Alcami proudly accepted the Business of the Year award from St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson and the St. Louis Development Corporation at the annual Mayor’s Business Celebration Luncheon. Alcami was one of eight recipients of the prestigious award, which recognizes St. Louis businesses for their significant economic contributions to the city and commitment to growth and development.
Alcami’s St. Louis Site Director, Ryan Williams, was amongst over 1,250 guests to attend the event at the Marriott St. Louis Grand Hotel and joined Mayor Krewson on stage to accept the award.
“We are honored to be named Business of the Year by Mayor Krewson and the St. Louis Development Corporation,” said Williams. “I humbly accept this award on behalf of all of the hard-working employees at our St. Louis laboratory, our clients, and business partners.”
The Mayor’s Business Celebration Luncheon began in 2002 – then the City of St. Louis Business Celebration Luncheon – as a way to pay tribute to exceptional members of the business community. The event is a hallmark of the St. Louis Development Corporation, the economic development arm for the city of St. Louis.
